Hi Everyone, I'm coming back. To what I'm not entirely sure. I just sold my business, but I'm still in a lot of debt from it. I'm now managing the business and I'll be looking to start making stuff again and hopefully get some side economy going. Maybe even making stuff for the store. Things I'm thinking about are dice trays, dice bags and some other fun things. I got a bunch of paper clay and looking to start sculpting. 3D is always my favorite medium. Let's see where this goes huh?

Out of Order!

I decided to check up on the old blog today because I needed a link for a website I was making and I decided to post something. Then I noticed I had some saved drafts that only need pics to be posted. One of them was even a little whiny and somehow cute. Well, I published them and now they're all out of order. I didn't know they'd fall in place like that. Oh well. I decided it was necessary to post again today for the 4th time to clear up the confusion.

I know It's Been 4 Months! Sheesh!

Well, I haven't blogged in a while, because frankly I haven't been in the mood to say anything. Not that I don't have anything to say, I have a lot to say, I have a ton to say. Maybe too much. Maybe I doubt anyone's desire to read my drivel. Anyway; I've been making clay things. I like that. A lot. I'm not very motivated lately. I have ideas, but no drive, no purpose. I want to do something really worthwhile, like Habitat for Humanity. Maybe I'll get in the app to volunteer. Grey is going to be 12. I don't know why, but it depresses the hell out of me. I'll miss 11 year old Grey more than any other age. He was so awesome this year. I know next year remains to be experienced and it could be even better. Why not? All the other years have been. I'm just feeling like this time the age thing is significant.

2008 has been kinda sucky. Alot of good things have happened (Mostly the election...ding dong the Bush is gone...or soon to be anyway). But this year has had a melancholy air and a lot of worry over money and the economy.

I always have hope at the beginning
of the year though. Hope is good. Things seem to be shaping up nicely too (again Obama) and finances.

I have a nice mug anyway. And a cute little ceramic tv.

Painting Stars

A little project I was working on a while back. I enjoy painting these stars even though they take a long time.  I was shooting for a minimalist look with this one. I quite like how it turned out.

Been doing a little of this and that. This is an upcycled mint tin. I've definitely been more productive. It's probably one of the reasons I haven't posted in 2 years. Gah!

Moby The Mudskipper and 2 Years OMG!

Here's Moby! It's been way too cold to work in the clay studio. So I've been trying to use up some felt I had laying around. I was inspired by a book I was reading to look into mud-skippers. It said they have four eyes. Well, they don't really. My son, the budding biologist, informed me that they have 4 pupils. Two in each eye. This is so they can keep track of things above and below water simultaneously. Correct me if I'm wrong.

It's been almost 2 years since I've blogged here! Time for a New Years resolution? Maybe.
